Now...I have been pondering doing this for quite sometime and I think I'm actually gonna say fug it and go all out. I'm aware of M-Sports, GP Sports, Origin, and Version Select...who offer kits for the S14. First off...are there others?? Second off....I'd like to hear from some folks who have done themselves or know of someone who has gone widebody on thier S14. What brand did ya go with, how was the fitment, was there alot of massaging/modifying involved to get the pieces to fit right?

In the end I'm sure it's dependant on who does the bodywork with regards to getting them to fit right, but it would be nice to know which kits are less hassle?

Anyone have some insight?

What you need to do is lay off that submit button... and search. There are all kinda of widebody choices and threads all about them. You have been here for a while, i would have thought you knew the routine by now...

There are various styles of "widebody" for our cars.
Most people just offer the 20mm ov er fenders or whatever with the vent.
GP sports has a different style fender which is more... GT styled I guess you could say.

Hey Bill... long time man... anyways... VERTEX Ridge is the nicest zenki widebody you can get... well IMO... it's very clean/classy. VERTEX kits in general fit exceptionally well... my kits went on easy... excellent fit no massaging needed... and all holes were predrilled in the right spots.

Oh yah and the kouki ain't bad either haha... my friend has it on his car right now...

VERTEX Ridge is quite possibly the nicest complete true widebody kit around...

Ok...and what you need to do is lay off on being a prick. I did numerous searches (widebody S14, overfenders S14, ect). What I found was mostly discussion about said subject. No real raw material with folks that have installed these kits. There aren't all that many widebody S14's out there from what I have seen.....hence me deciding to make an actual post to see if I could dig up first hand info. So try not to waste your time chastising me like I'm some three year old...

Anyways...thanks to those who replied and hopefully I can get some more responses.

I think it is one of the only(only other I know of is that uber expensive c-west kit) true widebody kits. Everything else is simply bolt on fenders/overfenders, which in my opinion ruin the lines of the car.

EDIT: As for the topic creator... just buy them, and figure it out for yourself. They are all basically the same. The reason you didn't get any results is because it is so straightforward.

I think that first guy meant that you don't have to post twice, since it would seem that you posted the same topic twice.

Bill, you suck at that dere interweb.

Talk to Jerry about M-sport, since he's all about the M-sport pieces.

Oh and Bill, you don't need widebody to hard park :Ownedd:

adding blister fenders is not widebody IMO

Go Vertex ridge! I've got vertex blister fenders on my SC and the fitment was awesome. You get what you pay for.

Either you don't want to spend a lot of money but are willing to invest some time into installation (V:S, Origin, Etc.)

Or you're willing to spend the money on quality pieces so you don't have to spend as much time intalling them (GP Sports, MSports, Vertex, Etc.)

^^ what are you talking about, vs and origin parts take like no time to install. legit japanese parts fit so minutely better that it makes absolutley no financial sense to buy them anymore.

vertex ridge is totally, totally lame compared to bnsports.

I didn't find the Zenki Blister. I had trouble doing anything after the puddle of drool hit my keyboard after seeing the Blistered Kouki. Yeah drool, that's what it was. :wackit: :keke:

i did the b magic method, i din';t li,ke the outcome, however my friend bobby did GP Sports, his is nice, another question to look into...are you going widebody with the intent to mold it or to just rivet it on. if you are riveting it on, then it should not matter to much. i went 50mm in the rear and 30mm in the front

Meh, you're probably right, I'm not widebody anyway so I really don't know. If it were me I'd get V:S in a heartbeat, fuck spending extra $$$ for basically the same thing. In fact i run 20mm V:S fenders in the front and they fit great...:coolugh:

The BN sport fenders are sick, those are the ones I told you about, the skirts are pretty extreme but who knows with the right wheels $$$$
won't see that around every day hahahaha

Thanks for all the replies guys. I guess now I know all my options and while most seem to say go with the Vertex ridge kit, I had no idea it cost close to $2,500. Hell with that cost and still having to find front/rear bumpers along with a hood, I'm looking at spending close to 4k just on body pieces.....not sure if I can justify that. Forget the fact that I'll have to find some bling wheels to fill up those fenders:). I may end up going with something along the lines of the Origin pieces and just be sure to find a good bodywork guy to do the install.

Either that or stock body for me with some pulled fenders...lol...

I kinda had the impression I wasn't going to get a surplus of replies. I really just wanted to hear some reviews from those select few that have installed some of the pieces I mentioned and wanted to make sure I wasn't out for any surprises after spending big cash on body pieces....

Stock S14 body is the hotness! Just get a 18 x 9/10 stagger with a 0 offset all around or something even wider.

Good luck!
