Ok my car has been driving great no problems at all. I leave work go onto the highway in third car bucks back and forth real hard, rpms redline then it goes back to normal. I was like umm ok keep going
20 minutes later same thing happens twice in a row at a red light. I pull off the highway and 1st 3rd and 5th dont work i drive in 2nd and 4th Come to a stop sign and all gears arnt working.
Car feels great though It goes into gear, shifts fine, clutch is fine, it feel like all is normal just the driveshaft is missing and the car wont drive anywhere
Basically all is fine it just wont drive
I look at it tonite on stands. I see one of the reverse sensor wires isnt connected. I connect it and get in the car and rear tires spin in gear. I go back under solder them on test it again and they dont work. I go back under take the solder off, wrap the wires good and it works again so I tape it up real tight.
Bring the car off the stands and go to drive and nothing.
I dont understand why the reverse sensor would cause this. I have never had any problems with the tranny no grinding or nothing. It has around 175k miles on it.
Is it possible a sensor went bad? All other wires are hooked up good. It has fluids in it and all bolts are there
Any ideas?
