no offense, but that sure looks like spray paint on those brake lines. And you couldnt poweder coat brake lines or they would melt......looks like a scam to me.

please read the OG post..

it says that calipers are powdercoated red, not the brake lines.

:wtf:

im guessing what napolean is trying to say is that theres a hint of spray paint since u can see that the lines have some spray on it since if it was powdercoated, it would not have that problem

thats correct. So, the calipers were powdercoated red, but the brake lines mysteriously have red spray paint on them? It isnt powder on the brake lines, as you cant bake brake lines. Go right ahead and buy them..im just tryin to help you folks out.

**EDIT***
the caliper in the lower right corner is OBVISOULY spray painted. Check out where the paint was either knocked off or the caliper was never painted at all. Furthermore, does this come with the ebrake cables? Otherwise, its not a rear setup.

whoa stop the crying,

I just talked to him and he said the calipers are powdercoated but he resprayed them because the finish was coming off. Don't like the finish then lowball him and have em blasted clean. scam??? hardly they're fuctional calipers regardless of the finish.

I'll try and get more pictures tomorrow.

so he PAINTED on top of Powdercoat? If you arent tryin to mislead people, you need to SAY what you said in tha last post in your original post. Powdercoat doesnt just "Come off" like on that lower right hand caliper.

yo, NO OFFENSE, but calm down homie....if you ARE really interested, then make comments, if not, leave it. don't ruin people's sale. why dont you imagine yourself in the seller's shoes. How does that make you feel?

i understand it correctly the fact that you dont want someone to get ripped off, and i really really thank you for that.

but at the same time, i would not judge if someone is lying or not just because it appears to be so. your word " looks like a scam to me" already messed up his sale. y dont you PM him about the situation before you say it to the public through your post.

if youre really interested and would like to buy it, you will ask him for more pictures and details before giving him any penny (use your PM), just to make sure that you dont get ripped off.

Quote "Powdercoat doesnt just "Come off" like on that lower right hand caliper." ill help you with the picture:

but first, read the title of the post: 300zx REAR Brake Setup 4/5 lug (selling for a friend)

please search first what REAR Z32 calipers look like. is that the one , that you kept of referring to, the rear caliper? NO

is it possible that he did not powdercoat the front caliper, but he just spray painted them? YES (no absolute fact)

and is it possible if he resprayed it on top of the powdercoat and accidentally sprayed the lines? YES.

therefore, DONT JUDGE. there are alot of possibilities.
