Aftermarket suspension on public roads...

I've been looking at springs/shocks-coilovers for months and I'm still looking...
I just wanted to get some opinions from people who are currently running an aftermarket suspension setup.

What setup are you running?
How often (if ever) does your car see track(or parking lot) time?
What are the road contitions like in your area?
Is this your daily driver?
Would you rather have a stiffer setup or softer?

I still don't know what to get. I change my mind every week.
Sometimes I think i'll just get pro-kits and some decent non-adjustable shocks. Othertimes, I think i'll get function b6's (well not really <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> but you get the idea)
Right now, here's what I'm looking at:
Tein HA, Tein HE, Tein FLEX, JIC FLT-A2, Zeal B2.

This is my daily driver and should see a track or parkinglot about twice a month, 6 months out of a year.

I don't have the money for these BTW, but since after ~5months I still haven't decided what to get, thats probably ok.

I just got my Tein Flex system and performance is greatly enhanced. I drive my car everyday and its very comfortable compared to others I've seen. The roads here in Hawaii are terrible. Potholes everywhere and road repairs everywhere you go. I just adjust it to the soft side for daily driving. My friend has Eibachs and Tokicos and he thinks my car rides way better than his. Soft but not mushy he said. Look into the Teins if this is what your looking to get out of your suspension. I got a great deal on mine so it was a obvious choice for me.

I just bought JIC Magic SF1 Professional Coil Over Suspension System, it came recomended to me from Project D (autoimaging.com). However, it will be a couple weeks before I can install them. Shaun from project D (owner) has JIC's on one of his 240's (not sure which JIC's) but he realy seems to like them.

I always ran stiff suspension on the street. &nbsp;On the FD I ran many different set ups.

1. Eibach Pro/Koni
2. Tanabe Sustec H Springs/Sustec Dampers
3. Tanabe Sustec Pro Street
4. HKS Hiper Damper Max II

For the street my 1st set up was nice and comfortable. &nbsp;2/3 were really stiff and not dampening adjustable.

The HKS were great since they were 38 way adjustable. &nbsp;Now the only problem I found with 3/4 is that on a stiff setting especially since they had pilliow ball mounts, I would "skip" on turns. &nbsp;Since most roads are uneven and have bumps etc a really stiff suspension can actually hurt your performance on reagular roads.

What made you choose those? &nbsp;You do know they are NOT dampening adjustable but only height adjustable right?

RK, road "holding" is one of the things I'm worried about for daily driving/spirited pubilc road driving...

well im running Tein HA's on my 95'. &nbsp;the suspension is great. &nbsp;the roads here in san diego are everything from smooth to shitty and they are fine for all in my opinion because i love the stiff ride. &nbsp;can get bumby but i am running them preety stiff right now with the damper turned up. i think this is one of the best set ups you can go with, or any adjustable damper system for that matter, because you can adjust the comfort to what ever you desire. &nbsp;on the softest setting they are fine for any roads. i think you should go with a damper adjustable system for sure if you have the money to spend because you will end up happy no matter what. you wont be mad because they are too stiff or mad because it is too soft.

well dave, you know what i have and you know what i do. but, i haven't tested it at the track yet. next weekend we'll see how it does. i live in MN and KS, and we don't exactly have the best roads around, my setup is about as stiff as i would want for a daily driver.

Yea stiff suspension are great but really becareful on the road. &nbsp;Too stiff you can actually "skip or hop" off your line when you take a hard turn on street roads. &nbsp;I wish the roads were smooth like a track but hey we all know public roads sometimes suck ass.

I've seen people lose control on the road not because they were poor divers but when you car skips and you lose contact sometimes it is hard to regain it.

hey team pulse do you find the ha's stiff enough? do you do any autox?? i was thinking about getting the he's cuz they have stiffer springs than the ha and come with the pillowball upper mount, but aparantly the he's are set up specifically for drifting?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?? what is the deal with that? does that mean they will be junk for racing??? &nbsp;it seems to me overstear would be better controlled with camber and body roll than spring stiffness?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>? hmmm i am confused as to which to get
