Well because of the lack of good quality S14 SR's my dealer ended up getting me a S15 SR with a S14 tranny for the same price I'd pay for the S14 after a now two month wait....
Seeing that I researched wiring an S14 into S14 most of my research is down the drain....and I'm considering just sending the harness somewhere to get it done...(i know it's lame of me) but hey I don't know the first thing about the wiring of an S15 into S14 especially since the motorset has the S14 tranny.
So, anyone want to do my harness or know anyone that's good with this combo...I've heard Yuri (sp? wiringspecialties) takes forever and is expensive!! I want something quick and want to have it done right and well. Any suggestions???
um.. it's not that hard. get the s14 fsm and the s15 fsm. it's just a repin job.

Getting an S15 FSM is hard enough.. good luck tho

Doesnt JGcustom do wiring harness too? I say go hit up Importfanatix.com and see if theres any good local shop in the tri-state area who can do the main engine harness. As far as the tranny harness, i dont see it being different from any S13/S14 swap. Just swap the plugs off your KA tranny into your SR and use the KA lower harness for the tranny.

i'm downloading the service manual right now...going to check out the engine harnesses/abs harnesses to see if a lot of the repinning is the same from the S14 stuff I've already mapped out....

you know what...i'm going to contact them later.
i was looking through the service manual (s15) and it doesn't look that bad when it comes to repinning the F4 plug. the only thing that i'm worried about is ABS. i want it to be funtional and looking at both S14 and S15 wiring diagrams it looks like it'd be a complicated venture to figure out the wiring. the ABS system on an S15 goes through the ECU where the S14 doesn't. i know it can be done, Yury says it can and so says McKinney, but it looks hard to figure out.
350 seems like a rip but to have everything work perfect the first time, it just might be worth it.
bardabe, s15 fsm is here: http://www.zeroyon.com/index/content/view/24/47
ABS is crap. get rid of it.

Not true , do people not read the threads i post on this.
The s15 has no speed sensor what so ever. [FACT]
It uses the ABS sensor on the diff , the abscomputer works out the speed and sends that to the dash.[FACT]
Back on topic, check www.sxoc.com for repining from a s14a SR to s15 SR ecu i think its only 4 wires.
If you use an early s14 sr loom it will be much harder.

I still will never understand why somepeople hate ABS...Sure it isnt as fun but it is definitely better

Bit un-called for old chap.
So plug your speedo in to the s15 and diff and what it burn out.
The speed is derived from the abs computer not from the sensor, it does not generate a speed signal.
The speedo needs a wave form , the abs sensor generates a pulse.
