Our booth was only set up on Saturday. The car was there from about 11 on. We were a little late because we had to swap a wheel on the trailer halfway to Irwindale. There are some pics of the booth and car at the end of the gallery and we will have more up when our other photographer is done with the pictures. Overall the event was pretty cool and the reaction to the car was positive despite the fact that we didn’t have the body panels on it yet. The spectators liked it but oddly enough it got the most attention from the vendors and other race teams. Quite a few came over after the event to check it out.

It was a pain showing up late though as they would only let us motor the car up to the top of the hill and we had to push it the rest of the way due to the amount of spectators walking around. I’m looking forward to the showing up on time to the next event barring any trailer problems. It’s always easier to get set up when you are there early.

I saw the car and I was just in awe; I've never seen someone hack the rear fender like that before. what are the dimensions on that rear wheel? at first glance it looked like you guys were building a drag car because the rear was so damn huge

LOL. Most cars with even 50mil overfenders have to cut away the stock one. Most just don't have the balls to bring it to an event like that.

I did have a few people thinking it was a drag set up until I pointed out the type of tires on the rear. I spent quite a bit of time on that actually. People were interested in the differences between a drag slick and a track slick as a good amount of them thought that all slicks are the same.
