ok im doing a ES hyperflex bushing kit install. I put all the bushings in except the rear hub/lower arm etc.. the big package basically. i dont feel like paying a machine shop like $100 to press out 16 bushings so wondering if theres a site that sells a tool (mini press maybe) that will allow me to pres out the bushings in the rear. Also what is the name of those rings that go ontop and below the bushing when using a machine press?

you can probably get a small hydraulic press from harbor freight for less than $100, and it should do the job. When I did my civic though, it was taking alot of pressure to get those damn bushings out.
I used impact sockets, but i believe they are called dies.

they have two. one is an a-frame press and the other is a normal looking one. both run about $80-100 bucks. buy it in store or the shipping will pwn you.

ok i see you havent actually done the install. The bushings are easy to take out, yes u just torch it, BUT theres a shell that is barely visible unless you pay attention closely to it. It needs to be pressed out it cant be burnt out.

I got a press from harborfreight but didn't have the correct drifts. I believe it was a 12 ton press. I just used the torch and sawzell method. Much easier.
