well im new to this forum but i come on here alot and view it but just never really registered or posted any comments but anyways i have a s14 zenki and today totally sucked...
anyways i got a hit and run parked outside of Vons and i have no idea who it was but my rear fender is dented in and which totally pissed me off..then later on i find out i have a leak in my power steering but i dont think thats too bad and even more later on i cracked my right side skirt cuz this car swirved in really fast and so i did my best to dodge him but ran off a curb and my sideskirt cracked.....
haha i wont be suprised if a huge trailer comes out of no where and totally hits my car just to finish it off for all the bad luck today.

Hey, its life, it sucks, be a man about it. Many people get into accidents, and they are happy that they are okay, and not hurt.

Don't worry about it. Learn how to repair your car body. It is a very useful skill to learn. Mine's been banged up a bit before and I learned how to fix it. Push the dents out yourself if you can get behind the fender and if paint is gone sand it down really good and slap some bondo on it. Sand that really smooth and spray paint it! Primer it first then paint.

like stated above.
Be happy. it coulda been much worse....
you' could've been like me, and had a drunk "I-have-2-compensate-4-something-so-I-have-a-HUGE-lifted-Truck" guy back OVER my car.
Not just being unobvservant, but an actual hit and run.
His receiver hitch came within an inch of my hood, and on an S13, that's a lot of ground to cover... nearly a foot of plastic, foam, and bumper support steel.
...and then there was the time my steering rod cracked clean off while cornering at 60mph, resulting in a broken crossmember, destroyed LCA, snapped in half TC rod, sheered st.arm rod, 2 blown tires, fender liner shot over 50 yds away, a hole in my wheel well almost big enough to fit my head thru, 1 shattered rim, and burying my car 8in. deep in river rock.
Also not my fault.
Count yourself luck man.

Post pictures of the damage. This thread is useless without pictures...
Body work is easy. Be patient and do it yourself. Leave paint to the professionals unless you're going to rattle can.

Painting is super easy and cheap. Do it yourself. Buy a gun for $50 and paint from ebay for $70 and just respray the whole damn thing. As long as you sand it really good and put a decent coat of primer on you should do just fine. Grey primer for light or colorful paint and black primer for dark colors works best, Keep the gun about 10 inches from the surface of the car. Do a quick mist coat (tack coat) over the entire car and let it set for a couple minutes to premote adhesion. Don't do more than 2 sweeps per coat or it will drip. Repeat this step if you use clear coat.
As far as paint mixing goes, most paint is premixed so you just need to add reducer.
