wsup guys, im new to this and i dont know much about cars, but my friend told me to sign up for this forum site and ask if ne one here is selling or know of ne one selling a motor for my 1990 240sx..my motor is going bad, something is misfiring and i need a new one...so if ne one can, please contact me and let me know if you or ne one you know is selling a motor...thanks

yeah ej friend right, check the forsale section, place a WTB add.. and do a compression check on ur engine first.... whats the condition of the motor? and what have u tried so far?

If it is just misfiring the engine is 'most likely' ok. But to you and your friends not knowing much it may seem like the engine is done for.

Do some basic diagnostics and find out what the problem is before you fixed it. What if it is not the engine but another part that caused the engine to fail. Putting in a new one and it will fail again cause the original problem was not fixed.

well what happened was that my radiator hose broke and i got it replaced the next day, brought it to the shop and they said my engine is going to go bad pretty soon and its going to cost 2100 to fix it...id rather buy a new motor than fix the one i have now...after i got the radiator hose replaced my car is still over heating, not sure why?...anyone know?

Damn jarhead "motor" "engine" shit get over it! Wats up 0luap check your local RECYCLER I juss found my "MOTOR,MOTOR,MOTOR,MOTOR" there for like 500 bucks with the tranny.So check it out. An dont mind anal retards on here there more helpful nice people on here than jerks.MOTOR MOTOR MOTOR yeah i said motor!!!!!

i just sold my ka for 350 with tran, im sure you can find one just as cheap and 2100 to fix your motor seems like a hell of a lot to me.

you might want to check your radiator fluid level. if there were any air bubbles in the engine after the hose broke they may have worked themselves out by now. worth checking and if its not low then move on.

"motor" are electric, ask any electrician...
I just find it humorous that you need serveral MOTORs, to keep your ENGINE running reliably :)
