90 s13 wire harness question(KA conversoin)

I got the wire transfer for putting the ka in my car from the arcives. I've spliced it in acording to the print out. I know there are wires that will not be used.
I have spliced togather 9ea wires that the colors match, there are 7ea wires on the old harness that do not match, 2ea on the ''new'' that do not match. By my understanding this is correct.
My question is, is this right?

yea there are some wires that will not be used at all..you should just electric tape them up. if you did the wiring right then your good to go

Yea, I used heat shrink on them,I was worried about the spair wires. But, I did match all that would match. I'm just a bit worried about it. It's still my ''daily'' driver.
We totally rebuilt the motor with 91 exaust cams. Painted the block, polished covers. So I'm really looking forward to finally getting it in!!!
