I basically need a lil run down if anyone can of what exactly i should get replaced or looked at when i go to service the car next week. I know the basic( oil, oil filt, all fluids, belts) but if anyone could give me some good detail or basically like a lil list and how much i should be paying for it i would highly appricate it. BTW high milliage 95 auto Thank you.

You should probably invest in new spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, new air filter, new brake pads, new rotors, and you might want to consider flushing your brake system and putting all new fluid in there along with your radiator. For the distributor cap and rotor, you just need to remember what order your plug wires were in on the dis. also make a note of what position the dis. rotor was at. This should cover a basic tune-up. If youve got any more questions shoot me an email to [email protected], or im me at brunswick240. Have fun, and welcome.

oil wal mart spacial, napa wix filter, air filter maybe... screw draining the brakin fluid.. dont need new radiator fluid unless its gettin cold and u gotta flush it out for the super low freezin stuff... plugs, wires definetly cap and rotor too..might as well... pull the valve cover off and remove the upper timing chain guide deal.. and throw it away.... if u were to do the job id say roughly around 140 maybe in just parts.... but if u were to take it to a shop it would definetly be a nifty penny....

Factory Service Manual... Search the forum and download it for service intervals, then search for and find your pricing online.

Let me work backwards to confuse you:
It's an S14, so no upper chain guide.
Plugs(good copper unless you are lazy then get platinum).
You obviously have no concept of electrolysis and the effects of when glycol goes bad. You should replace the coolant every 3yrs. You can get Glycol test strips to see how bad off you are. I have no clue what "super low freezin stuff" is.
Brake fluid absorbs water over time and the boiling point goes down. You should check to see the color of the fluid in the reservoir. If it's dark, you need to replace it.
Air filters need to be replaced every 2nd-3rd oil change depending on the area. Check it for what color it is compared to a piece of copy paper.
Nissan OEM oil filters are the only filter that's worth anything.

lol dam thanks for all the help. I do have a 95 and i already did the cap and rotor about 8 months ago and theplugs so i dont think thats up yet. brakes i recently changed the back calipers and all four pads and bleed them out and put new fluid like ill say about 4 months back so i think thats out the question. I have a intake cone so i guess ill just remove and clean maunally and i could probably do the oil change myself. so ill tell home boy to do that timeing chain and replace all my belts, flush out the radiator, cause it does get crazy cold over here in nyc. hes gonna check all my fuses and stuff like that. i apricate all your help for real, i guess if ya need anything from me that u might think i can help u wit cause im not completly dumb on my car just holla at me. [email protected] thanks alot. ONE

u dont need to change out the chain, just put new tensioners and guides... thats about it... my engine is doin just fine if my 95 KA can get past 200k and past smog on old ass oil, i think urs can survive just as much.... only thing i really need is just a valve cover gasket... its leakin oil up top.. but i say forget it.. just keep dumpin in oil, till its last breath..

Depends on if you remember to put it at TDC.

Do it before you end up like me (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=86774&highlight=timing). Theres a very good write up over here (http://garage.projectraine.com/).

yeaaap. reseting timing can be a pain the first time you have to do it. once you get the hang of it its not bad.

still, you can avoid all that. my advice is to just take out a little bit of white out and mark the position of the distributor before you take it out of the engine. use those marks to reinstall.
