View Full Version : What lip is this?(Pignose S13)

I've searched but couldn't find anything, so I thought I'd post and somebody might know. It came on my s13, I didn't even notice it until my buddy pointed it out. So does anyone know what kind it is? Thanks for any help.

hahahaha, Yeah it happens y0. Like I said I thought it was stock but two other people who supposedly owned s13's before said it was aftermarket. But this is my first 240 so I asked and I love how friendly everyone is on this site. :-/

You'll learn, for the first 6 months, don't even post here. If you can't find an answer just search. If you can't find results, search different. Believe me it's all been asked before, when you see how many threads there are on some topics you'll see why some people are so apt to get confrontational.

Yeah, I browse this site A LOT, barely ever post. But my friends kept on arguing with me that this wasn't a stock lip so I posted. meh. Whatever. I'll still search the site, just probably won't post much.

Tell your friends its a "zenki lip straight from Nissan yO' :cool:

But yeah that zenki lip only came on 89-90 pignose 240sx bumpers. Just a little info for you and enjoy your car!

Haha! I actually thought of doing that a few years ago but it was way too ghetto. I just decided to do some junk yard hopping instead. Home Depot has some good DIY parts for stuff like air intakes and cooling shrowds though.

True, I met a guy at a local drift competition that used the Home Depot lip, it didnt look that bad... The only down side is you absolutely HAVE to make it fit right or it would look like shit.

And yes, there are guys that use the really flexable metal piping as cold air intake to introduce outside hair directly to the air filter. In my personal opinion, it only looks good if your engine bay is clean... If your engine bay is ratty, then the metal piping would look really ghetto. :bow: To all his own.

There's actually rubber tubing that I was thinking about using to route the filter into the wheel well area. It looks like PVC piping but its black rubber.

how to your guys lips look so straight? Mine is sagging in the middle (although I think it's my bumper cover that is causing it to sag)

Drill some deck screws into the bottom of it :D Works like a charm. I bought 2 lips from a Smyrna junk yard and they sagged in the middle but a couple deck scews fixed it.

i have on luss like that on my car,lolz there were a'couple of kids that were askin what kinda lip kit i had juss cuz my car is 350z blue an the lip is painted black they thought it was a after market lip.lolz an one of the fags had the same one on his car an wanted too buy mine for a 100 buck's.lolz!!!!!!
