i play like everynight for atleast 30min. that games fun as hell. i dont play on any designated server. whatever has the lowest ping.

I usually play on a 64 person server "101st kark, sharaki, suprise" server. Its a good server, decent players, and good maps.

there is a program called TeamSpeak (TS). That is essentially like Vent. I believe that the server has to be bought just like vent, but it has other options like seeing what server/games/etc they are playing. The kool thing about TS is that you can click on their username and join the current server they are playing in. I havent used it in a while cause its been a while since i played. LOL. But yea, I am gonna be playing in the few weeks to come whenever I have some free time. Just gimme a ring, Im always down to fly. =) Just hope you dont get motion sickness.

Well i was looking around and came across something called Xfire. Still looking into it though, i dont think you have to pay at all.

Edit after reading more about it, there is no voice chat, but you can join the same server as people on your list.

i have xfire, nothing is better if u are gonna try to play a fps with something, it takes u directly into the server they are on, u can chat, and they are still ironing out the voice chat function however im pretty sure it can have u join the same ventrillo server too. definitely get xfire

I just got this for the PC after getting bored with BF2:MC. Anyone have any hints or links to strategy guides? It is a lot different than Modern Combat. Seems to be a lot better thou I seem to be getting pwned by playing it the MC way.

i dont think youll have much fun with 56k. DSL is almost the same price as 56k. unless it is not offered in your area. The faster the system the better. Graphics card too and at least 2gb ram.

Although it does require BF2 to play. It's a different game with it's own servers and strategies. You Rank up the same but you can't play a BF2 on a SF map and vice versa.

I'm going to buy it cause it's so cheap. But, it's going to sit on the shelf till I rank up more in BF2.

Nice, I suggest you do install it now rather than later. After you rank up you will get 2 unlocks instead of just one, with SF installed. On my next rank I will be getting 3 unlocks from what I read on totalbf2.com

Wheres what? The free unlocks? To clairify I got 6 unlocks today and i didnt even rank up. When you get SF you get one free unlock, but if you have been playing a while and ranked up, they compensate you since they add in guns. Im only missing 3 weapons now to unlock. Too bad I havent been able to play due to the fact there is a problem with punkbuster.

So in the end, it doesnt matter when you install, but if you install now youll get a unlock, or a few so you can have fun with new guns.

As far as the unlocks. You now get 2 unlocks at a time(one for BF2 and one for SF). Once you play a round in SF you'll get the unlocks for all your previous ranks. I was like a kid in a candy store unlocking.

Sucks that you have to unlock the BF2 weapon before you can get the SF unlock in each kit. Some of the BF2 unlocks suck while the SF rules.
