WHO:
Chaser Aerodynamics
They are a GTP/Cwings retailer. They have contacts that allow them to outsource their own products to be made. Thus, the Chaser Aero Hoods were born.
WHAT:
FRP hoods with GOOD FITMENT for 180sx, Silvia, S14 Zenki and Kouki and last but not least S15. Also, unlike "JDM" hoods, these FRP hoods cost less than $600+ before shipping

Payment Structure: Pay for the hood up front. Once the hood arrives, shipping will be arranged to your address. Shipping is usually around $130 to $150, so be prepared for that!

These hoods are made out of Carbon Fiber, but the FRP hoods are made from the same molds. Since FRP is more flexible than carbon fiber, the hoods will be able to be moved around easier for fitment in the way of warpage, which should be low since the hoods are stored very well, not just piled upon one another in a big room. As you can see the edges are very smooth.

Rain Guards:

These hoods are $325...Rain guards may or may not be included but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Then again, I've never seen rain guards on any aftermarket hoods before.

That's the broad flare hood, which unfortunately, does not seem to be available for the Zenki...:rant:

GTP/Cwings is notorious for using cheap materials in thier coatings and eventually fog up/oxidize.. How does these far now a days?

Well just as with any other aftermarket body pieces, quality is never 100% guaranteed. I can say though, from what experiences I know of, these hoods fit very well, especially for their price. Just like any other brand, they won't be perfect, and some modification will be required to make them fit just right.



This is the CW Flare hood, unfortunately I don't have the pic of this hood on a 180sx

Overnite.com fails when it comes to customer service.

Working on getting them shipped out through a different company. You're the only one that needs to be shipped now! All others were local pickups.

I'll be giving you a call by Monday to confirm shipping.
