IMO - I've done a lot of reading and the welded manifolds are NOT as good as the cast manifolds. Frequently the welded options look great but the metal is very VERY thin in places and people frequently complain of cracks in the welds. Also, if you read the specs on a lot of built KAT's the big boost setups include cast manifolds. That's not to say that ALL welded manifolds are bad, just that the cast manifolds will, in all likelyhood, last you a great deal longer and be less prone to commit suicide under the shittiest conditions in your car, the ass end of your 4 stroke cycle. :-P

SSAC makes one i think not sure search ebay i know it sounds ghetto but whatever... i've heard that the manifolds generally last about a year honestly its not a big deal to get a new one they're like 100 bucks or so

ETD makes the one I'm using. Look at the Zilvia KA24DET faq in the top of the tech section.
Someone lists them out, with links.

well its not like were dealing with a cheap hobby... and as for the down time well if this is your daily driver dont go KA turbo cus everyone i know that has done it has had a bunch of problems. fact of the matter is everything will break eventually... how quickly it goes depends on how hard you drive your car. honestly there should be no problems with that full race one it looks like its properly fabricated.
but overall everyone i know that has a KA-T uses the ebay manifolds and they dont have any problems with them

I know some guys with KAT's that are very reliable...I'd say go full race, or www.enjukuracing.com has some nice ones too

I am using the ETD as well. Sort of a middle point between log and tubular. What are you building the car for? Street/track car a log or short runner would be your best bet I think. If you are looking for big power then go tubular.
Here is the ETD: http://www.etdracing.com/manifold/manifold6.html
