Tanabe VS Ebay Strut Bars

Ok i was thinkin about getting Tanabe front and rear strut bars but people say get ebay knockoff ones cuz there just a bar.... are they right? Whats the different of a nonbrand and a well brand strut bars?? Anyone have these ebay ones? will they last? the tanabes are like 80 for each rear and front and ebay are like 40 for both. thanks
