I was wondering how much a KA24DE is worth. its from a 1996 240, has about 80K miles. The clutch was replaced at about 75K. The whole package would be engine, trans, ecu, and harness. Let me know what u guys think, and what you would pay.. thanks

no more than 800 bucks sounds resonable

I think $500-800 is the going rate for a low mileage KA.
One with 80,000miles would go for $300-$400 most likely.

I sold my KA for 300 bucks.....it had 140k miles on it.....but the car was immaculate with everything stock including the clutch.
My car after 140k miles with stock clutch and wheels and suspension and everything else......did a 16.0 in a 1/4 which is very good.....tells you a lot about the engine...IT WAS IMMACULATE....
But they're dime a dozen......so low 80's i would say 400-450 at most.....

96 is an s14! i wanna know pricing for s13s! around the same? please tell me it's cheaper! because i wanna a manual tranny... but there is a big ass list of stuff you gotta buy, and you gotta find them separatly, because if you buy it from nissan, only place u'd find them all, it would be very very very over priced! about a grand! if you can find new and used and sum rebuilt stuff you should be able to get it all for about 500-600, but you have to put sooo much work into finding them all, that rite now im considering just buying another ka24 with the tranny already on it! also because if you only swap the transmission, there is shit loads of work.. and with the extra ka24 auto, you can buy another 240sx, with a blown engine... very cheap.. and sell it! and get your money back for what you paid for the ka24 and labor! thats my plan! anybody disagrees??????? hehehehe check! i got kind of off topic here huh? my bad! lolol

I've found in Toronto that it's easier to get an SR than a KA.
Try Lucky Star Auto.
