I have one last option when it comes to picking new wheels:
17 x 9

Offset: +17 or +25?

I have an s14 with q45 front brakes, AGX suspension on Eibach springs. No coilovers. Currently no pull, no roll on my fenders. This is a daily driver.

Which do you recommend?

And tires? Would a 225/45 be a stretch on a 9" wide? I don't need any crazy JDM stretch, or whatever. This is a daily driver that occasiionally hits the track. I like a little bit of comfort, too, so no sidewall flex is low on the priority list.

Thanks a million! PS: soon as I buy, pictures will definately follow. :D

hey Dousan, btw, sorry for asking a question in this post.. i plan on running a similar set up but on S13.. 17x9's.. +20 but i'm thinking it should be no problem as R33 wheels are something like +30 and peeps run spacers.. something with 225's all the way around.. or possibly 235's?

you may need sometimes a 5 spacer w/ 17x9 +30 wheels up front.
235 is easy and wont rub just the wheel is too close to the coilover sometimes (depends on the coilvoer may require more or no spacer)

go for the +17...225/45 would be a mild stretch on a 9" (per my personal definition of "stretch")...if its gonna be a daily driver and youre leaning on the comfort side, maybe you should take a look at some 235s...but then again, 225/45 wont be bad...

tks for the quick reply Dousan! that was insanely fast.. i'd really like to run 235/40's all around if possible so i can switch front to back and would like to get max grip possible.. in your opinion according to wheel size, tire size, S13's fender wells can accomodate this right? I plan on pulling/rolling them out anyways before car is painted.. it will be sitting on KTS coils btw. Tks again for all the info!!

Is this going to require lots of camber to keep it from rubbing? What about pulling the fender? I can do it, I would just rather NOT.

+17 is easy. Go 235/40 you may not even need to roll the fender. No pull will be necessary.

depends on what size tire. I'm running 9+20 with a 245 tire with no probs. Stuck way the hell out on my friends S13. I want to up the rear to a 275.

I run 17x9 +20 w/ 235-40 on an s14.
KTS coils, stock fenders, no rubbing. (so same setup as you will have)
Could easily slap on 5mm spacers, so definitely go with the +17
