dizzam...i was looking thru an option mag and saw some gunmetal buddy clubs P1 on a red S15...made think about picking up a set...are the buddy club P1s heavy? need some info where i can pick some up in socal.

If your state side just get the Kosei K1's. They are the exact same rim made by the same company and a lot cheaper since you do not have to import them. I dont know if the K1's are available in as many sizes so you will have to check that part out.

Actually, they are similar but not the exactly same...
The buddy club's attachment point is a little deeper into the rim and the "spokes" are a bit wider.

Are buddy club's painted?  If not that would be one reason to get them over the K1's.

Actually DSC - The link you posted to is the BC P1QF which is the later model of the P1's for BC. If you look you will see BC's first P1s where the exact same as the Koseis.

Gregshin, the 2nd link you posted shows the P1 QF not the P1 2. Regular P1/K1 look like ass.

P1 Racing II generally run about 450+ for a wheel. Just thought you guys would like to know.

They ARE cheap, but however are fairly light weight and good quality. "The rim of choice" for a racer on a budget <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>
~$150 a peice, 15.5lbs @ 16x7.5 to some the #'s to the left are more important than looks.




BTW, I think hey look pretty good when they are actually on a car.
