Vacuum leak? Did you hook up everything that needed to be hooked up?

did you unplug the battery when you did the intake box to cone filter swap?

i forgot to reset the ecu once and i got a weird idle and the engine was stumbling through the lower rpms.

try unplugging the battery overnight or leaving it off for 30 mins, then see if theres any changes

Did a tune upnot even amonth ago, plugs, oil, air, didnt change the wires cause they were new from the previous owner, cap and rotor looked the same, no burns or buildup so i left it alone as well, going to try the battery suggestion in a bit, see if theres a difference.

Common problem when upgrading the intake on a KA, seen it plenty of times, but... What has seemed to help is unplugging the battery and then after it has been unplugged for over an hour, you reset the ECU with either a scantool or old skool style with a screwdriver and then start the car, let it idle for about 3 minutes and then try and drive it. I've seen it go away completely and then I've seen it just run a little bit better, but either way, it's worth a try. Also.... clean your pcv valve, idle air control valve and throttle body, check your egr for fluctuations or limited opening, also clean your vacuum lines from the egr and the bpt valve or replace the lines. Excess gunk will affect your idle when your intake is upgraded.
