Back trunk

I am Having a problem with the back trunk anyone else have a problem with it shutting all the way? i have tried to adjust the bracket for where the latch is but didnt work out to well any advice? also anyone have any advice for getting my defroster to work correctly, it works but only like on the right side(pass)

If i place my hand in the center of the trunk it won't latch, only when I shut it with my hand on one side only, weird
Check the ducting or vent i would say, if its working on one side only maybe you have blockage
