For as much as you know Luke, you could've done the LS1 in an S15 to begin with. Hell you could've done it with your S14.....
Custom mounts isn't a problem for you, nor is anything since you have access to get er done haha...

I say you get a S13 Fastback, put the LS1 in it, and then APC the hell out of it. Poor fitting S15 conversion, Giant wings all over the car, extreme widebody, and some FN's at super sunk levels.

it looks interesting, would like to see some weight comparisons, and would like to see preces, availability, supposr and what how mutch custom fabbing has to be done. i might be interested boosted LS1>RB25 but the install support and lack of custom welding>crazy shit that it looks like the LS1 will require.

Hey Luke, where's the redline on your LS1?

The redline is 7k.
Btw. On the dyno i made 320 ft torque, and 300 hp to the wheels before 2000 rpm.

Fuck yeah that shit looks sick. Although I love the FD Ls1 you got now but the variations are suprising and exciting to see them for real. I say run the FD and if you can on the side build the s15 LS1 little by little.

that's why we need a shop. a place to build and store our race cars.

But it's so easy to control that with your right foot. One of the wonderful things about an engine like that.

wouldn't it be a good idea to stick to one car and get really used to it so that you can compete to the best of your abilities? Jumping from car to car seems like starting from square one in terms of learning technique in the vehicle, especially since the dynamics are so different with completely diffrerent engines. Isn't this why the 86 is so popular? Drivers master the vehicle and nothing else comes close. Of course if you got long arms and deep pockets I suppose the sky is the limit. You have a fully built drift monster. I would try winning some shit before scrappnig it for something else.

I still say keep the FD and avoid andrew punching you in the face. LS1 s15 is tempting, but your car is teh hot sex right now, ride it out. :D

+1, "TRY" is the key word here.
You have to try going all out with the car first Luke, if you're not crashing into shit, you're being overly cautious and not putting it all on the table.

No wonder you seemed to enjoy the wet conditions of Irwindale so much. Those conditions sucked ass for a qualifier.
