sr transmission weight
how much does a stock sr transmission weight with the bell housing?? i have searched for 45 min and cant find it. i found the weight of the engines but not trans.
also how do you guys ship trans's? i had a mr2 trans shipped to me once threw ups ground. not sure if you can do it with these transmissions thow. or would i have to go with freight?

I am going to recommend unishippers.com to you. I shipped a sr long block for about 160 dollars. Its going to have to be on a pallet to ship it.
I am pretty sure the sr trans is around 80-90 pounds. |

ok thanks then ill ship it out on ups ground. i did a estamated quote to ship the furthest away from me in the 48 states and it is 100 bucks for 100 lbs. so ill just ship it that way. freight would cost atleast 130 bucks.

Is it seriously 90 lbs? Because when I changed my clutch it didnt feel that heavy. I'd say more like 70...ish.

Front and rear housings - weigh 40lbs
Gears inside - weigh 60lbs Over all Tranny - weighs 100lbs I know this cuz I shipped my Transmission through the post office and it had to be under 70lbs so i broke it down and weighed everything
