buddy clubs are not low at all. because their slider release bar is on the bottom it CANNOT be as low as the nagisa or bride rails which have the slider release on the side. if you want a higher seat setting then yes go with buddy club because they are cheap and cheaply made. if you want quality and can afford to spend a little more then get the bride rail which can be set higher with the adjustments (buddy club has too but just doenst go as low) nagisa rails are little cheaper but i dont like how the slide release stick outs so much on the side and hits the s14 trunk/gas lid release.

you're lucky to be so short. keep in mind this car was built in japan for short dudes. i'm 6'1-6'2" and with really low brackets on side mount rails i BARELY fit in my car with my helmet on. if you're 5'8ish just about any seats will work fine.

The photo below is a buddy's setup with a nagisa rail set to the lowest setting:
A few months ago, I picked up my own seat and bride rail, set to the lowest and middle notch up front for a little lean, and I sit lower than the photo above. I am 5'9-5'10. Jacobzking, try and tilt your seat back to have head room if you haven't yet. I have about 4-6 inches with mg current setup on the rail.

I went with buddy club, and ended up just using my stocks and modifying a little. I have a S14 with a sunroof, so when I have a helmet on I still needed like an inch without touching anything. Im 5 10. My seat was side mount too. I would not waste my money again on a set of the buddy clubs
