Switching from HUD to Analog Gauge Cluster
My HUD cluster's speedo quit working on me, so I tried to replace the capacitor, and now I have no backlighting.
So I want to switch to an analog cluster. Only thing is I'm in Canada so I'd want a cluster in km/h, either Canadian, or JDM. Just to verify what I've read from searching: 1. I need a cluster that's 91-94 right? 2. If I use 89-90 can i swap in the tach from my HUD cluster? 3. I know I'll need the cluster sub harness. Can I use a 91-94 JDM cluster with a JDM sub harness? 4. Is there any difference between the 89-90 and 91-94 sub harnesses? Thanks in advance Dirk |

sub harnesses are all the same. You need to match the tach to your motor (in other words DOHC tach to DOHC motor) so if you can't find a 91-94 cluster just swap the tach, it's just 3 screws........
I think I have a spare sub harness if you need one, just pm me..... |
