Oookay so my car wouldnt start and found out my fuel pump went out. So i bought a used one installed it i can hear the pump working wen i turn the key to prime but its not pushing out gas? i also changed my fuel filter since it was a little clogged but i dont understand why its not pushing out gas when i can hear the pump working.. Any ideas would help thanx guys

is it possible u have the lines backwards? i had a friend help me install a new fuel pump and he reversed the lines. still primed and sounded like it was working but it was just pushing the fuel and air back into the tank.
