Well at least let me get an LSD in my car first. :-p Shortly after buying my car I went to a safe spot to celebrate the purchase. While its *really* nice to be driving something thats RWD (right wheel drive!) and has a 5 speed.... oversteer + open diff + soggy suspension = kinda fugly. Fun, but ugly.

I'll watch for now, maybe get to know some people. I havent been to a car meet/event since 01.

i never said im in whatever side, what im tryin to say is WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT MOVING ON, yes, i never been on track but really wanna go, however, i dun have a garage, i dun have money for track only tire, i cant afford any major problem to happen on my car. im simply just broke after swapping! AHA im a fuking ricer because of that. GOOD!

Since you havent done it, you cant judge it. You dont know how fun it is to drive your car hard and not worry about cops, curbs,trees,poles,kids. Like you say you cant afford it then dont talk sh!t about it, since you cant do it.

See now you come out and explain your self a bit. Look at this post compared to your first in this thread. No one is going to call you a ricer because you can't afford to go to the track. In your first post you implied that you could be doing the same thing for free away from a track. Hang around for a while and you will see that many people are very seriously against it and for very good reasons. Very different from going out on a cruiz and enjoying your car. I am all for that. And no, owning a 240 is not only for drifting and racing. But serious and fast driving is for the track.
Many 240 owners are nice. But you need to understand that we ( as well as any other "import" group ) battle stereotypes associated with the cars. For every one dedicated enthusiast, there are 4 dumb kids attracting attention to their antics. Getting tickets, racing on the street, hard parking and causing trouble. So when you jump in and say "this thread is pointless" and "don't you have anything else to do" and top it off with implying "you don't have to be paying for track time to drift" people are going to get upset!

-"this thread become pointless" means the argument about the AMP, NCDA, Jay on who is right and wrong is pointless, the fact is we now need to pay more for the track is a fact, no doubt. so we need to move on
-"dont you have anything else to do" is refering to the very very first post of this thread aka Luke's post, does NCDA got ditch out means you need to sell your car? i just cant stand people saying "drifting is everything in my life, and i gonna die if i cant" <- that is not a funny joke.
i love driving, doesnt mean i need to drive recklessly, and of coz i'd like to drive hard without any worry ie. trees, curb, cops etc. i always dream of going to track, but in such situation i cant go due to lack of $$ but i would definitely go if i have enough money to get my car ready.
sorry again for anyone i have upset and once again, im not trying to talk shit to anyone.

Guys if you know of any spectators please have them visit our website and read the spectator info we have posted. I hope this will help increase the awareness of other's actions in regard to the ENTIRE Norcal Drifting community being able to have events.

As for tire mounting...Jay might have more info on that, but last year at nights drifts a wheel works truck would stop buy and offer a mounting service for a small fee.

I have a crack on my windshield thats like 5-6".. its on the bottom corner of my windshield and not in my plane of view while driving, would i have to get my windshield replaced in order to pass tech on july 6th???? 240sx windshield prices have freaking skyrocketed recently =/
