ok dood... all you do is buy a s14 LSD, drain the oil, remove the s14 rear cover, install a s13 rear cover with a new gasket preferably, then fill it up with new oil and bolt it into your s13. done.

Don't forget to buy solid front bushings. You can't use the s14 rubber bushings, or else the rear studs of the cover will start breaking.
I heard this one before, it's funny, do you know if you currently have a LSD of some type in your car already? I hear friends telling me they want an LSD in their car, after a burnout I tell them it's got a LSD already. They fucking have no clue what the fuck LSD rear end is for and how to use it. So before you start swapping parts, figure out what you have, figure out what your getting, does the used one your getting even work? Why are you getting a LSD for? |

wrong as long as you use the s14 bolt for the bushing you will be fine. ran 4 s13 w/ s14/j30 vlsd never had this rear cover snap issue. all you need is the s14 front bolts which are longer.

What's gonna hold that diff from moving and putting stress on rear bolts?
It's like your saying "Hey I ran my exhaust bolted straight to the chassis without any rubber hanger/ bushing, my mani didn't break". While most people try and do this, they will end up with broken/cracked manifolds. |

Go ahead, do whatever you want to your car, there is reason why stock 240sx last years until kids start "building" them after after they built their lego cars, they really think they have better engineering skill then Nissan has (zip tie this, tape that, glue this, hammer this). If you want use duct tape to hold a rear wing that is putting 1000lbs of force on rear of a car, and tell me it's worked, great for you, but please stop spreading stuff like this around. I seen bunch of rear studs broken off rear covers. To the OP, you want shit done right, do it yourself and do it once, or be cheap and do it couple of times and end up calling a tow truck.

i bought some solid diff bushing from frsport, they come w sotck s14 bolts (longer). i would recommend to change while the diff is out, the rubber one usually make the car bounce when you take off, mine did that but after i replaced the bushing it was smooth than a muggaa.....
