those are very interesting videos, i didn't know there were of those GT3 drift videos, i only got some of it. i can only do like maybe 1/4 of what they can do.. maybe because i m using a controller and driving auto ?? how well you guys drift in that game ??

my chances of doing a complete and clean drift is still 75 %
i do spun out a couple of times.. but then again.. im using a logitech steering wheel with force feedback and i always use manuals... pretty fun though.. i finished GT3 and i have less interest playing GT3, now waiting for newer GT (whenever it comes out)

yes those videos are nice watched the first two didn't see the 180sx type x or the ae86 or the FC in it. I can pull of a clean drift 50% of the time. I use a controller it is difficult. Bbandit what technique do you use to initiate the drift. I use e brake, but i heard it wasn't as good compared to some other ways

i use steering wheel (makes it a lot easier i think)
what i do is quite simple... for example... im approaching a sharp left turn.. what i do is press the brake pedal.. and when the time is right... i bank the steering wheel to the left as quickly as possible.. and then i press the gas pedal hard.. moments later i counter steer while pumping the gas pedal(to avoid spin out).. i keep adjusting my line by finding the right angle of counter steer... after that.. just another straightaway... my fav car is my 300hp black FC with mesh wheel.. i think its a good drift car.. not to fast.. not to slow.. enough power to still have control over the car

I just recorded 3 of my drifts in GT3 with my digital camera (just got it, yay) but I need a place to host.
Anyone have a server or any ideas for a site? The videos are each under 3 Megs (I can only record 20 seconds at a time plus there's no sound, grr). |

Thank you Bbandit.
Alright, I figured out how to get the files to load right so here you all are. They're all 1.5 MB. http://www.geocities.com/rps13guy/drift1.mpg http://www.geocities.com/rps13guy/drift2.mpg http://www.geocities.com/rps13guy/drift3.mpg If they don't work which I'm pretty sure that they won't, just copy and paste the link. I'll probably make some more tomorrow. Enjoy. |

If you ever want to drift or just make the tires spin turn TCM and ASM off. Don't get to much horsepower unless you know how to use it. Apparently Stage 3 Weight reduction is too much (I like to use Stage 1). Read what the information says. ie. shock absorbers, camber, toe, etc... If you buy a Skyline and you want it to take turns better, never install the VCD (it's AWD is perfectly fine). |

Here's a couple more videos.
www.geocities.com/rps13guy/drift6.mpg www.geocities.com/rps13guy/drift7.mpg Note: You still might have to copy and paste the link but they do work. If that doesn't work, get rid of the "http://" when it opens in a new window. |

here's a video I made of a Nissan Z Concept (350Z). 601 horsepower, and I actually set this car up to grip and not drift. Just take off the TCM and ASM and put on the normal tires and it's a different story
11.8 MB http://systemsilence.com/gt3c.mpg and the song is Way of Life by Big Bud

Nice video Big Body LX, a fine choice for the vehicule. Also, I'm jealous of the fact that your video has sound and actually is good quality. What program did you use?
