no ABS on my car and i wonder can i add LSD... i know the stock ABS models come with LSD but can i still put it on without ABS

yes you can, my buddy has an s-13 and he used a 300zx rear LSD with infinity J-30 output shafts, so in essence you can just use an infinity J-30 one and it will bolt right in. I used a 95 j-30 on my 96 240 and it bolted right in, got it from a junkyard for $300 and did it myself, .8 faster at the dragstrip the very next week.

A .8 difference at the drag strip, thats impressive. PSI240sx can you go over the installation and hassels you came across? this seems like a great mod

You can buy the shafts for about 150$ A piece from courtesyparts.com. I was about to order some so I could put on a Nismo LSD, but now I am going to go for a custom application and get a Quife LSD. They were made specify for the 300ZX so I will have to buy shafts for a Z and custom fit it to my car.

If your just getting a stock VLSD (which I recommend to everyone) then go to a junk yard and search your ass of for the parts PSI240SX mentioned.

why do you need an lsd from a j30?  can't you just use one from a junked 240 that had it?  any idea what nissan charges for one?  how easy is the install?
