Exclamation *PLEASE STICKY* AEM EMS on SR and KA

AEM has released a info informing user if they are running a s13 sr and ka they may need to change the CAS disc. Info can be found on the aem forums. Here is the link Nissan CAS disc

I searched the web and couldnt find a lot of info about this, so i figured i would gather what i could and pass it on.
AEM EMS user MAY have to change the disc in the CAS because the oem one might not working the ems. AEM has come up with a solution by offering a replacement disc that you can purchase from them. I can not find it on the website even with the part # provided.
I called them and talked to a rep and he got it all figured out and shipped me the part.

Heres the info i have obtained:

Part # 35-8760
Item Name: wheel, 24&1 Nissan SR & KA
Price: $20, $5 to ship Total: $25
Way to order: called them 310-484-2322
Pic of what it looks like:

i figured it was $25 to make sure my car didnt have the problem. So far, i have not needed to install it, but whos to say the next CAS i purchase will work.

Here are a few link i found helpfull as well.

From what I understood, AEM was supposed to be shipping these with the units or providing them for free since it was actually them who messed up when they rushed the AEM EMS to market the first time.

I met the lead engineer at the last local EFI university I was working at and he said they should be comping them. Try to ask for this when you guys with AEMs call

cheers
