Does anyone know of an aftermarket 2JZGTE intake manifold that works/fits in a S13/S14 with a stock brake booster/bmc. i know some have fitment issues.

^^^omar had the pnp racing but his was modified. He trimmed the end portion. Other way to do it is to get smaller brake booster. Try to contact Ben from freedengineering. He can make u one, don't know how much but the intake
mani looks bad ass

Just polish the stock intake mani. That will make it look badass, plus they can flow enough air for big power already anyway.

two questions flicktitty why did you mount your oil cooler where you did instead of mounting it in front of he radiator where when you are at a light it will still have air going over it?

well the secound one is for anyone but for some reason when im driving and puwsh in the clutch at a light the idle wants to die but not all the time sometimes its at 700 500 ive even seen as low as 400 to 250 700 is good i know but why is it doing this its only when the motor is warmed up

i didn't want to obstruct any more of the air flow that was already being cut off by running the intercooler where it is. Where the cooler is now the car stays plenty cool. Atleast for what this car has been used for.

I just picked up a Virtual Works intake manifold and more than likely it will need some minor modifications to accommodate the bmc and ps fluid reservoir.

Here are a couple of pictures of it installed on a MKIV. It is not much wider than the stock intake manifold thus I do not think it will require a tremendous amount of work.

The build is still in progress because we are waiting for some parts. I will keep you updated once we mount her in.

Care to elaborate bro?
I ask because I was considering getting the Engine/Gearbox Brackets and W58 Urethane mount in.

I understand I can get away with SR engine mounts?

It's just I'm in a shit situation after buying a 1JZ engine swap package and it turns out the previous owner solid mount the brackets straight to the crossmember.

Xcessive warranties their mounts for life, so if they did "twist like a pretzel" then you'd be able to get new ones.
I have a buddy with a 1j Cressida, and he loves all the xcessive stuff.

If the w58 trans mount is anything like the r154 trans mount, you can custom make your own haha. Remove rubber, weld in metal plates, awesome solid trans mount lol.

But yeah with the xcessive and most other aftermarket kits, you use sr/ka engine mounts with their brackets.

Well, I have no personal experience, BUT like I said I have seen twisted/bent ones.

Initially, the design looks very poor. I'd imagine they would have some type of support going down the middle to help reduce 'flex'
