I was just in the interior thread being jealous of stuff, and saw some sweet custom ordered cluster and shrouds Toby did. Looks like attention poorly spent on other people's cars.

There will be this summer!... guaran-F'n-teed! I have to take some time to myself and get something done to it.
LOL, nicely put. Yes, I have been trying really hard to expand my Broadfield Customs business over the last several months. Making my own website, pushing social media hard, offering sponsorships... all just to get my name out there in areas other than just the s-chassis world. Because until the end of last year, "Broadfield Customs" was just a side thing for the hell of it. Now it's an actual registered business that I hope to turn into my day job. I still need a lot more steady business in order for that to happen though. |

Is there something special about VDO gauges that I'm not aware of!?!

I'm not finished with the a/c setup by a long shot... I have already changed things four times. So I won't post details until it's done and working. |

Wow Broadfield, this build is amazing! I am in the middle of doing an LS3 swap into my Z32 and I am tucked and shaved as well but not to the point of perfection as you. Unfortunately I do not have enough time to clean up the AC as much as you but I still plan on running custom lines and moving my ac condenser forward so that I can tuck the radiator under the radiator support. I do not want to clog up your build thread with my rant. Again, great build thread, keep up the great work!

Like everyone else has said, what an amazing build Toby. I'm greatly impressed with the level of detail you have put into every aspect se far. Im currently working on my 240sx s13 hatch with rb25det swap, just spent $3,700 on motor to intercooler setup, lol... I was really looking forward to buying the BB delete and wiring harness and radiator tucked from Chase Bays, but I am making a bit of a rush to get it put together before the end of the month and have run short of funds. I like you, strive for precision and perfection, and hope to see my 240 build turn out as great as yours. Thanks for sharing, and for some gret ideas. I hope to get the bulk of purchases Wednesday, and start my own build thread soon after.

Toby,
Regarding the aim gauge, will the obd interface works on older than 2008 GM pcm ? I'm thinking of getting the same one instead of using the racepak.

I'm old lol, so I'm not sure what you are referring to "Phoenix situation"!?!... but I do not have any updates yet. Very soon though. After a 2 year hiatus, I'm gearing back up to get this thing done.

Sorry, nothing new and hip, just referencing the project rising from the dead. Look forward to new progress.

Broadfield, a couple years ago I was a bit of an ass toward you as I was wanting someone to figure out my junk for me. Turbo oil lines and such for a KA. My apologies. Nice to see you've expanded your work into other stuff.

I can't wait for you to have an update. Your attention to detail and overall cleanliness of your builds brings forth an unspoken challenge to everyone to step up their game.
Also, your builds are a guide on what to do and how to do it right. I probably will never be to your level but I hope to have at least fraction of the class your car has. |
