Lol, first vid..totally deserved that one. Guy or girl, walk up to a cop that's arresting someone and go after them to touch them and see what happens. I would have done the same thing, if not drawn my weapon. Surrounded like that and being the only cop on scene, no telling what kind of shit can happen to you. DOES NOT MATTER race or whatever, human for human, that's a total unsafe situation for any cop!

Dude, I wouldn't have socked the girl in the face. For sure. The girl was definitely stupid for touching the cop, but the cop already had grabbed one of her wrists when he socked her. Why didn't he just go for the other wrist? The girl showed no sign that she was gonna hit him, she in fact looked kinda shocked and scared that she pushed him. And as I watched the video again, the cop wasn't in fear that he punched her but in anger. Look at his face. As a cop, emotions shouldn't really get in the way. He basically punched the bitch out of anger. Honestly, that cop could have easily gotten the situation under the control by just grabbing her other wrist and submitting her. And if the cop isn't able to control the girl (although she was bigger then him lol) he shouldn't even be a cop to being with.

Oh, that cop was really defending himself. lol.

Under law, what she did would be considered assault, but come on, that was a girl pushing him. She didn't slap or hit him or anything. You guys are pussy's if you call that assault.

The punch to the face was fucking excessive. Did he really need to punch her to control her? Cause cops should only use however much force is necessary to control the situation with th least amount of casualties. Honestly, I think if you put a lot of other cops, especially la county sheriffs, under the same situation, their response would have been much different.

Hahahahaha. As the son of an LA County Sheriff deputy, I can tell you that the LA County Sheriffs would've beaten the fuck out of that bitch with their batons.

Man, you really are an idiot. Spend some time talking to an officer about events like this and you'll understand why he reacted that way. You may also come to understand why that particular officer will not get in any trouble as a result of that incident.

I'd like to see officer mc smootherton over here casually handle a biligerent criminal while another biligerent criminal physically breaks into your resisting arrest with a group of surely pissed off bystanders amassing behind your back. Have you ever been stabbed or shot?

idea is to suppress all potential threats in the quickest way possible. If the girl is momentarily deterred from PHYSICALLY INTERFERING WITH YOUR ARREST then you can complete the task of arresting jaywalker and then proceed to arrest unarmed assailant.

So don't try to make it sound like its just two fucking innocent girlies playing tug of war and the big mean cop punched the little girl in the face. There was alot more going on in that scene than just the two girls. If i was an angry bystander mad at the world and wanting to fuck up a cop I'd do it while his back was turned to me... maybe while he's occupied with something else. It doesn't take alot to have a situation escalate out of hand.

Oh but right he should have been like you and played touchy feely with the second girl while the jaywalker recovers and pulls a 2 incher out of her boot, effectively pumping a couple rounds into the back of his head. Your such an idiot to think that everything can be handle so fucking delicately.

If i had the coin to drop I would file a lawsuit against the second girl for bastardizing the american dream. And no this isn't a gender issue. Had this been a young white girl instead the news wouldn't even have aired it. And if they did it would have just been "snotty white girl gets what she deserves for interfering arrest".

Oh yea, that cop really took care of that situation quick. He was struggling with the girls for a long ass time. Any time that he was struggling with that girl someone could have come up.

LOL. He still ended up struggling and playing "touch feely" with the girl for ever. I'm just saying that it would have been best to just drop her to the ground and handcuff her, which is kind of what I imagined the sheriffs doing. I know its easier said then done, but its a girl for crying out loud. That cop had a hell of time struggling to control that situation. He punches her and struggles with her, while the whole time anyone could have come up from behind. So his punch was worth less, it didn't make it safer for him, if anything it probably made the crowd angrier. lol.



Basically, the girl did something pretty stupid, but it appears as if the cop punched her out of rage, which really didn't make the situation any better, as he still ends up struggling with her for a long ass time, while any of the bystanders still could have attacked his ass. Cop handled the situation like shit.

I would have loved to see you in a situation like this. It's amazing what happens in the heat of the moment when you're trying to control people, crowds, and a situation. Trust me when I say, it's not as easy as you think. Sure it's easy to point out things from the armchair, monday morning quarterback style, but it's much different in real life.

Instead of saying the cop acted like shit, think of it this way:

1. He arrested two girls
2. He kept the crowd at bay
3. He didn't use deadly force
4. He didn't resort to any non leathal force.

What should have he done, smashed her to the ground, beaned her head off the fender a few times, and then cuffed her? I think he did as well as possible, giving the situation.
