Have you met Nino yet since you got there? He drives a maroon laurel...he seems to kinda have fallen off the face of the planet since moving up. Last I talked to him, car's kinda been on hibernation since its winter.

Yeah, hung out with Nino quiet a few times, He just came back from Leave in the states.

he wants to do some restoration on the Laurel (rusty floor pans) but he picked up an S13 that hes been playing with at the track he want to trade fo an S14 now lol.

The R33 engine (one I ordered) was supposed to have the updated crank with the longer oil pump drive. But seems like the early R33 engines didnt come with it

AFAIK every RB26 post-Feb 1993 has the updated crank. I have a 1997 RB26 for my car and its got one.

haha I almost wanted to try somthing like that, but almost certain it wouldn't work.

There is a Shop here ppls been telling me that does good machine work, He Did DJ's and few other so I'll use him for it. No way I would be able to do it.

The JUN instructions tell you to machine down the old short snout to a certain Mil and install using the two set screws provided.

Probably, I fig since my Machinist is gonna be Japanese probably best the instructions be in Japanese lol.

I have'nt heard of any one using a the Raw brokerage one yet. So not sure.

This thread should pick up next month, Since all be done with all the studying shit.

Got a few parts in today though from Nissan

New Muffler Hanger, Original one is all rusted and falling apart

Rear brake hard lines are pretty rusty so gonna replace those and order some new rotors, Pad and SB lines for the car.



Found a new spot for the Go Pro the cab, Wish it was lower though.

Why not hang the camera upside down and when rendering just flip the video. Idk how the gopro works though, just looks feasible

Finally decided to install the new door weather striping.

It's still -5*C but it wasnt too windy so decided to take car of it.

Very easy fix, took longer to take the door off.

Nice build so far. I'm really fighting the urge to breakdown and buy an 89 GTR. By the way, there should be an upside down mode built into the GoPro, check the user manual.
