Hi i have seached for 45 min and i cant seem to find anything, maybe i am not wording it right.

But here it goes i just purchased a 92 240sx convertible and it will not go in any gear (d,r,1,2) are all neutral and the fluid looks great and is full not low or over filled

If you have any ideas im up for anything thanks

Did you put your foot on the brake to change the selector? Can you insert and remove you key in the ignition just fine?

key goes in and out pefect selector moves when i use break idle drops 100-200 rpm like it should when in drive but it does nothing else

I'd probably use this as a good excuse to do an auto -> manual swap.
