Aftermarket Gauge Question

Im installing aftermarket gauges and I want them to operate the same time the main cluster does.

When I put it in "ACC" the cluster does nothing but in "ON" I get the idiot lights, water temp, fuel gauge etc all working.

Being said that, Ill just splice into the whichever wire gets 12v when in the "ON" position right? So they all turn on at the same time.

Also the wiring diagram just says "Ignition" it doesnt state ACC or ON but Im assuming its the ON wire I need to splice into.

On is a label on your key cylinder. The terms are 12vACC and 12vIGN. Obviously, Ignition = on.

And yes, to run with the cluster, wire them to an IGN source.

Are they clearly marked out? So youre sure that 'ON' is the IGN on the key barrel?

any easy place to wire a illumination for your gauges is the orange wire coming from the stereo
