sideview: Where were you? I didn't see you there. I changed the color of my car so you might not have recognized it. It was the green two tone.
s13irdie2: I saw you out there but never saw you run. How did it go? I had a good time. I wasn't happy with not having the ebrake button (got stuck up a lot). I went into that front turn at 75mph a few times and wow that was crazy. Over all I had a good time even though I wasn't happy with quite a few runs on that front course. Steven

i was there sunday, for all of those people that badmouth driftdays for their apparent lack of track time. I filled up my tank right before i started at the station around the corner. I put in 80 miles before i left the speedway at the end of the day, thats pretty much all on runs except one food run. 80 miles, i learned A LOT and also was able to work on my consistancy because of the short wait time.
there was a period of 10 minutes in the afternoon where i had the 2nd track all to myself, got in about 6-7 consecutive runs before having to stop and let my car cool down (at which point the other people in my group decided to show up) anyway, all you internet drifters out there, stop posing, put up or shut up.

Yeah the main course was nice I was hitting that as fast as I could but after my first 2 passes my tires were done since I started with low thread and went to the back course first. I figured I would come back with another set of wheels but after making a few passes the next time around on the back course my 17's shredded my harness and fried my ecu so I got to spend the rest of the day sitting next to the gaurd rail... The driftday guys were super cool about helping and I got one of the connecters on my ecu soldered back together and my car ran miserably but enuff to get back to the high desert. I think the event was great though. I dont see why I wouldnt have got more than enough track time and the courses were very good. I was kinda hoping for more room before the big sweeper for speed but maybe I just need more power...

wut up steven, i was chillen over by the check-in where Thao, Kat for a bit, then I went into the pits until the track was done. Yah i didn't notice your car, I thought you were driving the champange coupe, then i realized it wasn't you. Yah imma try and make it to D-day 24, once i got school consistent and can pay for a private event and d-day 24.

I was there. White zenki with black hood and black front bumper and black rims. I was doing figure 8 most of the morning and a little afternoon then did some course. Finally got the big sweeper down like in the last one or two runs. bounced at 4pm cause of I ran out of tires (burnt 1 pair of brand new Yokohoma in less than 4 hours, so that's a lot seat time. Used like half a tank gas).

haha lindsey walking around with the intercooler and a automotive penial implant. comedy. laid back setting. the pit entrance was different but it does make the walk farther from the pits.

You were there Sunday weren't you. I was there Saturday. With wet track in the morning and lots of tires going flat towards the end of the day. Got a screw in one, blew out a plug I forgot I had in another. Kind of sucked. Well, if I like the JD event and get along with people, I wont be back to DDay until I can afford 2 events a month. ya after the first time you just sit and analyze what you did right and what you did wrong
getting into drifting just visualize a lot then go and do it and watch more videos. |

I was there on sun. I had the green s14 I was hanging out with the burgandy s14 and the white 86 and the guy who's sr s13 caught on fire in the first half hour of the day. I had a lot of fun that WRC course was awesome I was one of the first to go on it and the mud was soooo slippery but once it dried out it was a nice course. I learned a lot and could link the wrc course and the bigger skidpad course pretty consistantly by the end of the day. I was having a hard time at the beggining of the day I was running 205's in the back and I really prefer 225's so when I put my 17's on with 225/45/17's mich pilot sports the extra grip made it much easier for me to carry more corner speed without spinning. I never really got the high speed course down and by the end of the day it was destroyed it was basically one corner from people hitting the cones on the chicane. I will be out sun for the JD event I think it is the 6th and then hopefully sun for dd23 if it doesnt fill up to fast. See you all there! btw I destroyed 2 sets of good 205's on the skidpad doing 2nd gear donuts for a while it was fun though |
