bad alternator?

need help. car wont start without a jump. everything works. light,radio,windows. but car wont start on its own.. KADE BTW.

take off starter(be sure to disconnect battery first) take it to auto zone and theyll test your starters voltage and if you need one then buy one there problem soved

to test alternator

turn car on and disconnect negative ground from batt

if car turns off the its the alternator

make sure all the wires going into and around your distributor are all tight. especially then single wire going to the coil thing.,

Keep it simple

My S14 did this after sitting for months. Turned out to be corrosion on the battery terminals that caused the issue. I suggest starting with the simplest things first. Clean your battery connections.
