I wouldn't be shopping for the absolute lowest price.
Make sure you take in pictures of what you want done. Make sure they agree to it in writing. Don't just take it in there, and "hope" it comes out ok. Written contracts are good for everyone, because both parties understand what is expected of them. I second steve's opinion in my years of experience with aerodyne. You can find some cool videos, and a few neat little parts (used), but as far as a service shop you are better off at one of the other much more highly reviewed shops around.

The total was $6500 out the door. That's including the clip, swap, and additional parts (Greddy FMI w/ piping, Greddy downpipe, Koyo rad, and a Blitz Single Active clutch kit). Minus what I sold off the front clip (hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, foglights, silvia grille, etc). Down time was 1 week from drop off to pick up. I only had one issue the next day, the car wouldn't start. I called Marco, and came out to the house and fixed the car. Since then I never had an issue. IMO he is a bit expensive, but well worth the quality and service he does. |

Half cash and half credit. Yup parts and labor. Can't remember what the numbers were but they were even across the board. I put about +5K miles on her since then, I don't DD the car anymore, about 3-4 months after the swap. Now I just beat the crap out of her on the track.
If you can afford it....you won't be dissappointed. |

sr20 store, g-dimension, and foothill auto are good shops and very familiar with SR and RB engines, there prices and not that much of a difference. so whatever fits your money. always buy a front clip so all the parts you need will be available.

Personally
I would go to a shop that does engine work for engine work and shop that JUST does tuning for actual tuning... This is very important. They are very different art forms. The shops that do great engine work...do GREAT install work...most of the time. But these same shops seem, from my experience to try to bundle tuning or do a very rushed job of this side of things...trying to offer a ONE STOP shop... Keep this in mind when building cars locally, it will help you really get the most for your dollar
