Ka24de rattle!! Not upper guide
I have a rattle coming from under my valve cover and i would like some help figuring out what it could be! i removed the upper timing chain guide and its still doing it!

You could be having issues with your lower timing chain, the other weeek my lower tensioner went out and i had a simair nosie that would go away after about 2500rpm. Pull your upper timing cover and look. also ive heard that the lower timing guides the plasics likes to break.

What's the mileage? Think your chain is just too stretched out causing it to slap. I've got the same issue and I'm at 213k on the KA. Replacing it would most likely fix your noise issue, and it'd probably also improve your performance. A stretched chain can slightly put your engine out of sync. I don't care since I'm going SR anyway.
