97 s14 running an check engine probs?

Ok a few weeks ago I put a head gasket on my s14, had head checked and worked before reinstalling.

Ever since then it has ran fine until yesterday when it started missing around 4k rpms. Brought it home an checked code it said crank position sensor so took it out an cleaned it off an put it back in, it ran fine last night an this morning then did same thing again.

This time code said front o2 and crank position sensor, I put crank sensor in an cleared codes. It still was missing so checked codes again an it says cam position sensor. But when I tried to crank it back it wouldn't start an won't run long enough to throw a code?

What could be going on no way are all of these sensors going bad at the same time an it keeps changing engine codes any suggestions or experience with this prob would be helpful thanks

Crank position sensor has nothing to do with your problem. You can rule it out entirely. From there, the cam position sensor seems the only likely culprit, a bad O2 would just run in open loop. Possibly the timing is off just enough for it run, but run poorly.
