180sx/s13 jdm rear sway bar bushing replacement

I've dug the web but I was unable to find a 21mm replacement for the rear sway bar?

Or maybe I am just really bad at searching..?

I was wondering what is the best option

Any comment is welcome

Thanks guys

Amazing what happens when you Google "21mm sway bar bushing"

Just saying.

Next time use the small questions thread.

Thank you for your help, smartass.

Ive goggled the subject already and could not find my answer, the problem is the Jdm rear sway bar bushings are différent from the US ones (21mm vs 17mm)

I wanted to know if someone here had found a miracle solution, all the kits ive found only included 17mm bushings..!!

I know my energy suspension kit came with 2 sizes. I got the "master Kit"

I used one set on my USDM S13, I can check the size on the other set i still haven't used when I get home if that helps you.

edit: nvm the two different sizes were for the front sway. My bad.

Smartass... Really???

You answered your own question- you are really bad at searching; considering that you clearly didn't even try.

BTW, I'd put a dial caliper on that sway bar before you call it 21mm.

G35gabby, I had that same thought when I used the master bushing kit... The 2 different front sway bushings are not the right size, but the smaller sized one will work in a pinch. Luckily for OP, they are cheap and EASY TO FIND using Google

Hehe funny one with the link,

It might be my lack of knowledge, but I was trying to find a model specific bushing but it looks like a sway bar bushing is universal? If yes it might explain my struggle

Btw, sorry about the smartass thing, i think (or hope) that most people posting here should have been at least googling the search and that includes me

energy suspension offers universal 21mm bushings... you should atleast try it to see if it works... worst case... you may have to shave a few mm off the flat area.

Energy universal bushings will work... and you can use the original sway bar bushing brackets if you still have them. Dial caliper is like 5 bucks at HD... and great for ensuring you're buying the right diameter bushing.

One last note- Make sure you put a little grease in the bushing where the sway bar contacts it... and since you have it apart, Energy rear sway bar end links are only like 15 bucks for the complete set set if you want to do the whole thing all nice-like
