-= The Precision Turbo Owners thread =-

Since it is hard to find any decent information about the real performance of Precision turbo's I had the idea to start this thread as an information libary for these turbo's (same as the famous GT2871R thread...)

What info do you want?

Well, most people like to know spoolup and power so lets post your precision setup here.

- PTE turbo? (from the old sc61 or so to the new billet stuff..)
- A/R, BB etc.
- Engine (displacement)?
- full boost rpm?
- Power? @ what boost?
- Dynosheet?
- Other stuff that makes the turbo spin faster/slower?

Well, you get the picture. Please, no discussions on whats better or not... just reallife experience.

Grtz,
Daniel

I should have my 6766 on the dyno soon. It's currently a ceramic ball bearing T3 .82 AR with 3" vband outlet and going onto a KA-T.. I think I might change to a .68 exhaust housing.. I planning on running 25-30psi on 93 with meth injection.. Daily driven.. Here it is next to my 35r in my dirty ass engine bay (not for long )

You might want people to specify their fuel type too..

I'll add my dynosheet to this post..

^ that car has now upgraded to a 6262 .63 exhaust housing

Now packing a 2.2L Brian Crower stroker kit and Precision 6262SP turbo, it has been tuned to a thumping 427kW at the wheels at 35psi on E85 before the 1450cc injectors were at 99% duty cycle.

so I just picked up a 6262 for my sr20 can anybody tell me when it will start getting into boost? I'm thinking about trading it for a gt3076r. any info will help. I've searched and I cant really find anyone running a 6262 on a sr. most people have the ve head or a 2.2. I have forged block with stage 1 custom cams I had made, compression is 9:1 je pistons with eagle rods. I have a high mount set up. im only going to be running about 18psi any idea of when I will hit full boost?

Looking at everyone torque numbers in here it seems theyre kinda low to me in relation to the whp. Ive got a 5558(t3, .62ar, 38mm wg) on my sr and made 420/280 at 17psi and my last setup was a 3071r(t2, .82ar, interally gated) and made 430/365 at 22psi. Any one know whats up with such the big drop?

Assuming your reply is directed to my post, could you elaborate a bit more on this?! I would like to learn as I proceed with your suggestion, but your reply is vague atm.

Using Vernier calipers, measure the small side and large side of both turbo wheels. You should be able to do a Google search to find your model using the measurements.
