i just ordered a set of koni yellows for my car an this is what i got...

it came with instructions sayin that i have to cut out the original strut an use it as a sleeve for these an they are suppose to screw in from the bottom? does this sound right? so anyone that has these on a s13 hatch or coupe please give me some insight.

so are they suppose to come like that where you have to use part of the old ones?
