Ka24de cyl 1&4 dead/heavy misfire

I just got my 93 back from a shop because I had no time to work on it due to school. New fuel pump. Stock injectors brand new. New cap and rotor. Fuel filter. Plugs new.
180 psi on all cylinders
45 psi at the rail
The car is running extremely rich and cyl 1 & 4 are Damn near dead.
I'm so lost at this point.

my initial thought is that the #1 and #4 plug wires are swapped at the distributor..

Before the shop, I put in the engine, trans, and did the 5 speed swap. Last night I blew the starter in half so there's that. Just got a new one in today, put it in, timed it, and now it won't even fire. I feel like I'm missing something really stupid and easy. Also, I made sure all the wires, and plugs were set to their respective places.

How do you know it's running rich? How do you know cylinders 1 and 4 are suspect?

Well, it *was* blowing black smoke out the back when I had it running. And pulling the wires when the car was running, 1 and 4 did nothing. 2 and 3 killed the motor.

Did you oil the injector o-rings before putting them in?

Is mechanical timing okay?

I did pull the injectors (I don't trust anything the shitty mechanic did), and they are oiled and seated properly. I just timed the cams and checked the sprockets. I have nothing else to work with other than messing with the timing of the distributor. Fiddling with it now. Having the dis timed dead on, the car still doesn't run.

If your engine is flooded, I'd let the gas evaporate before trying again. When I did my dizzy my car wouldn't start until I let it clear out. I thought I had stabbed it wrong but I tried again a few hours later and it was perfect.

I should be headed to get a MAF tonight. I'll update this when I get it on and retry getting it running.

Wish me luck.
