Insurance? How Much and Good Insurer

Okay first of all I didnt know where to put this but whatever.

So im 15 years old going on 16 in july, and the thing is, is that I want a 240sx. My parents wont get me one because they think ill kill myself in it. I want to build it as a track car or maybe a daily driver. So my dad said, i couldnt pay insurance for the car because he said it would be over 5k a year. Well ive done research and it comes out that some people are paying 200-400 a month and about 2500 a year. So im asking you guys whats a good insurance company, and what do you guys pay monthly and yearly. This would be when im 18 and out of HS or whenever. I currently have a job making a whopping $4 an hour but i bring home about 100$ a week if i work 2-3 days a week. Thanks again if anyone of you guys can help

Well thats the reason why they dont want me to get one. Well my dad anyway. He thinks ill drift every corner. I wouldnt mind having one as a daily/drift or having 2 of them for daily and 1 track. Here in NY everyone wants major money for them. Probably same by you 2. But its not like you just wanna do drifting, you could use it everyday, because thats the car you like. Myself i dont want a beater one thats all rusty and rotted out or having a bent frame. Its more money. I rather do all the stuff myself, make it the way you like it and call it a day lol
