rattling noise under valve cover

i have a huge rattling noise under the valve cover of my sr20det and i cant figure out what it is. ive checked the oil and when i took the cover off all the rocker arms and the cam shafts were bolted down tight so nothing was loose.

are you sure it is coming from under the valve cover? the SR fuel injectors are pretty noisy.

^That's what mine was. I thought it was the upper timing chain guides and it turns out it wasn't. Grab a long handled screw driver and place the end of the handle against your ear, then place the tip of the screwdriver on the injectors and the valve cover. You'll hear exactly which one is making the noise.
