Owning a 240sx..
I just recently have had the luxury of driving around my 240sx. I freaking love it, even though it's stock. I have just added an exhaust and headers, however it get's so much attention. I have been obsessed with these cars forever, but I finally own one after searching far and wide.
I have had it for a week and get so many looks when driving by. People stop me at lights and tell me they like my car, and everyone at my work likes it too. Literally every civic on the highway wants to race me. LOL. I'm used to driving a Ford Ranger, that was completely stock. So I am not used to getting any sort of attention. Now cops follow me a lot too haha. Just curious really, if you guys get positive attention from people too? Thumbs up? People constantly looking? 240sx's in my area are pretty rare. That might have a LOT to do with it, but I just seem blessed that all my efforts have payed off haha. #AttentionWhoreForLife!!! |

I waive / get waived by pretty much every s-chassis in my area. Occasional chitchat at lights. The people that don't waive are usually oblivious to what they have.

Only one hater so far. Some dude in a truck was riding my butt, and I stayed the speed limit... and he told me to "Get that POS off the road you faggot!" Then I proceeded to do a huge burnout and probably got melted rubber on his front bumper. Then took off, and e-braked then powered over a nice corner. Then drove off. I was pretty stupid that night. |

But to answer your question, no one ever takes a glance at my shit. I think it's mainly because most people in South Orange County drive real high end sports or luxury cars, so seeing a 90's Nissan isn't anything. |

I think its pretty cool to get compliments from other s chassis owners and random people. I've encountered probably 2 people that had 240's and we all waived at each other.

there diffrent kinds of s chassis owners, some have there ego's that are carried over when they left the honda scene. but some other owners are pretty cool at least the ones between the ages of 21-40. i live in north OC there are pretty much a handfull of s chassis.

I remember when I first thought like this....than I thought about my future. I don't know what kind of business your in but assuming your a blue collar worker this car isn't practical for much other than a hobby weekend car, don't get me wrong I love my s13 but I'm beginning to understand that I need another car for reliability while I do serious cool things to my s13. I Wish you the best of luck with your chassis

there is no luxury in driving a 240. People are turning their heads because it's loud but it only goes so slow.. but seriously tho. good luck with your car.

Owning a 240SX is the number one way to collect phone numbers from dudes.
Granted, those dudes are know-it-alls who want to tell you what you should have done with your car and your money.
