DAI’S DRIVING ACADEMY 3 FOR ALL DRIFT DRIVERS: Please be prepared with 60psi in your tires. This makes your drifting much easier. Date: Aug. 1(Sat), 2009, 9AM-4PM At: Ex-USMC Air Station at El Toro, Irvine, CA Instructors:

TIME TABLE: 8:00AM-Registration start at the registration tent 9:00AM-Opening meeting at the course, Instructors, staff introduction 9:10AM-Course and Driving Guide for AutoX/Grip drivers NOON-1:00PM-Lunch time, no driving at courses except event staffs 3:00PM-1 mile grip course will be tested for lap timing and to finish course layout with selected drivers. 4:00PM-Closing meeting & Raffle COURSES:
SAFETY ISSUES: 1. Please wear HELMET. 2. LONG SLEEVE SHIRT and Gloves are recommended. 3. Do not enter driving course area for watching or photo/movie shooting. 4. CLOSE WINDOW WHEN DRIVING. *All above are cordially requested to inform all participants by Daijiro Inada for safety. TIRE SERVICES: DTC has been supporting our event from their strong friendship with SOCAL DRIFT. Again, this time, their support helps all drivers in following special services at LAKE FOREST branch, which is located only 5 miles away from El Toro. Tire Mount $4 each, Tire Dismount $4 each. Balance $8 each including necessary sticks. Tire Disposal Fee $3.25 each, when leaving dismounted tires. They also offer Special Price for all tires available on the day. Just you need to tell Account Number of SOCAL DRIFT as #1003333. For Drift: Preparation of 2 pairs rear is recommended. For Auto-Cross: Preparation of 1 pair front is recommended. *Tire consumption depends on each driving style, but it is better to have tires of more than 80% treads for all wheels when you come to the event location, in order to drive back home safely. FOOD/DRINK SERVICES: TACOS and sodas will be available at the event location. EL OJO DE AGUA Taco, the best Taco in Riverside and Moreno Valley, at good price. BIG RAFFLES & JDM GEAR ARCADE: Additional raffle tickets are available at $10 for 5 tickets with NO LOSER, with one JDM OPTION DVD for one of 5 tickets. RAFFLE WINNERS WILL BE DECIDED AT THE END OF THE DAY, BUT WINNERS IN ABSENCE WILL BE NOTIFIED TO THE DRIVER OF HIS GROUP IN THE FOLLOWING WEEK. DIRECTIONS TO EL TORO AND REGISTRATION: CLUI Land Use Database Map View Take FWY #5, and get off at SAND CANYON exit. At the south side under FWY #5, there’s MARINE WAY. Proceed to the end of MARINE WAY, then TURN RIGHT. You’ll soon find our registration tent on the entry way at left. Sign on the waiver form and get colored WRIST BAND according to the instruction. Those without our wrist band are not allowed at our event location. You will find GATE at the end of MARINE WAY. From there, turn right and follow DRIVE CENTER indication to our registration tent. TECH CHECK: We’ll start Tech Check at 8:00AM at the event location, but it’s also available FREE at following locations;

fucken sickness........fucken sickness......it was sooooooo fucken sick.
Awesome event, thanks Lee and all that put it together. I had a blast. I be there next month. Hope you guys do sat & sun. Good to see a lot of the local faces. So many people there, is was sick.

WOW this track event was one of the best ones that i have been to in years!!! SUCKS that my raffle ticket was lost!! ahhh! but yea ill be back there for sure!
THANKS AGAIN FOR HAVING SUCH A GREAT TRACK EVENT!! (now post pics! ^_^)

no way jose! KA is awesome, 1st time driving the high speed course and it was SICK top of 3rd 65-70 mph skipping the mongies so i can get to that speed and weight transfer hahhaha so fun I WILL be @ the next one 4sure! and hopefully i can win 4 raffles again!! hahaha besides breaking a brand new windshield that i got installed yesterday it was a great event
